About this event

Learn about the history of Brookwood Manor, located on Routes 4 & 32 at the foot of Brookwood Road in the Town of Halfmoon. Thomas and Elizabeth Bradt Peebles started building this home in 1763 on what was then called the Great Road or the Kings Highway along the Hudson River. Thea Hotaling, current owner of the Manor and hobbyist historian, will share the history and family stories of this special place right in our backyard.

This program is free and open to the public and is done in partnership with the Friends of Peebles Island State Park
