About this event
Just in time for Halloween, Thea Hoteling returns to present unexplained occurrences at Brookwood Manor. Built in 1763, the Manor was the home of Thomas Peebles and his wife Elizabeth Bradt Peebles. It is located at the junction of Routes 4 and 32, formerly known as Kings Highway. After Thomas' death the Manor became a tavern that served travelers and important military personnel including George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, and Governor George Clinton.
This program is offered to the public for no charge and will be held at the Peebles Island State Park Visitors Center at 6:30 pm on October 29th.
Funding for the program is provided by the Friends of Peebles Island State Park and Shenendehowa Neighbors Connecting. Registration is requested, not required.
