How to Make Your Home “Age-Friendly”
Join us to find out what you can do to make your home more “age-friendly!” Lauren Harrington, an Aging in Place Specialist, will talk about useful tools and resources at the Clifton Park Senior Center, 6 Clifton Common Blvd., Clifton Park, on Wednesday, May 27, at 11:30 a.m.

To register call the Clifton Park Community Senior Center 518-383-1343. If you registered for the event on the SNC website you do not need to call the senior center.
This aging in place class will explore:
- practical home modifications
- simple tips on ways to stay safe
- an overview of some of the many new gadgets and tools for seniors
- the resources in our community.
Lauren will also discuss long-term planning options to help you stay independent, as well as what to do if other housing choices need to be made.
Shenendehowa Neighbors Connecting is the sponsor of this aging in place program, made possible by a generous grant from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Refreshments will be served after the program.
Lauren Harrington is an Aging in Place Specialist with 35 years of service, including roles with Catholic Charities, Armistead Caregiver Services, Colonie Senior Services and Albany Guardian Society.
Throughout her career, Lauren has been dedicated to helping older adults and their families with compassion, recognizing their dignity and providing practical solutions. She cared for her own parents as they aged at home in the Adirondacks.
