The next walk will be at the Vischer Ferry Preserve at the Whipple Bridge Friday August 14th at 10:30. We'll walk for about 45 minutes. This is a paved walkway along the river. It is a pretty walk with the opportunity to see many birds. Last year we saw a slide path used by otters. Bug spray is suggested.
After the walk there is the option to drive to the Vischer Ferry General Store for lunch or other refreshments.
The Whipple Bridge entrance has a small parking area and is located across from the intersection of Riverview Road and VanVranken Road. There is a slight incline to climb from the parking area to the trail.
