About this event
Hello walkers! Let's take advantage of the fall colors and walk in preserved forest area that does not allow hunting. The Anchor Diamond Park is a 246 acre passive park in Ballston Lake with numerous trails through a wooded area. It is maintained by Saratoga P.L.A.N. A map of the trails is available at
https://www.townofballstonny.gov/DocumentCenter/View/207/Anchor-Diamond-Park-Trails-PDF?bidId=
The park is located at the intersection of Rt. 50 and Middleline Road. We'll take the Hawkwood, Hemlock, Old Field loop through the park. This is a wide shaded path that is flat and includes several historical markers. This loop is about 2 miles total. For those who don't want to walk that far, they can skip the Hemlock trail portion.
Parking is off Middleline very close to the intersection with Rt. 50. Once you turn onto Middleline from Rt.50 the parking will be on your left.
Hope to see you there so we can enjoy the fall colors together.
