Hi everyone,
I am so excited about starting a WALKING group for those interested walking and hiking in the nearby parks. It is challenging to coordinate everyone's interest and timing but I hope we'll have a good turn out. Allan and I are outdoorsy people (camping, hiking). One of our favorite activities spending our lunchtime in parks. In the Fall we visited Saratoga Spa Park. For next Spring we plan a luncheon and walk at the Geyser Creek Park also in Saratoga state park. Let's enjoy the nature setting: Island spouter spring, Tufa (colorful carbonate mineral build up), tasting the spring water and the sound of the creek!... Easy access, weekdays there are no entry fees for seniors.... Stay tuned!
